Stay Home

Why is *this* coronavirus a big deal? Why is it something we are shutting down about? How is it different from the flu? It’s a new virus that we have no immunity against. It is highly contagious. It is mutating and changing symptoms / they vary. We have no vaccine, no cure, and not enough medical equipment or supplies to handle the immense influx of sick people at hospitals if everyone *who can* does NOT STAY HOME. The nurses and doctors, the supply chain managers and drivers, the shipping company employees, the utility employees, the farmers, the grocery store employees, the scientists, etc. — those essential people who we all need to keep everything going and are risking their lives and their families by doing so — they need all of the rest of us to stay home, and to stay calm, as much as we possibly can. You do not need to hoard supplies or food, truly. This is not the end. We CAN beat this. But for that to happen, all the rest us need to slow down so this virus spread will slow down. So please #stayhome.
